Our family has lived, worked, and played in the east for more than 20 years. We love delicious food and sharing the joy of it with friends, family and the community.  JUNO & SONS shares that philosophy with Elizabeth Bay.

To satisfy evolving palates and home cooks who’ve become more aware of food provenance and sustainability, former Rockpool and Qantas Consulting General Manager Terry Higgins has opened Juno & Sons in the heart of Paddington. Arriving just in time for the festive season, the pop-up sees Terry sourcing chef-quality local produce and deli items, kitchenware and cookbooks, as well as a small range of hand-picked items from overseas.

Just as important as what’s in store, however, is the experience of the shopper, says Terry, who has used her extensive contact book to stock the shelves with the best of everything.

“Service is key to the Juno & Sons offering,” she says. “The team know the stories behind the items on the shelves, and it’s all laid out in welcoming and approachable store where it’s easy to find what you need.”

She’ll also be assembling curated hampers for those in need of a sophisticated gift.

“You’ll be able to choose one of the latest cookbooks matched to ingredients and perhaps homeware or kitchen equipment,” says Terry. “Or one of the hampers might have a cocktail shaker, glasses and an ice tray teamed with Wondaree macadamias from the Atherton Tablelands in Queensland.

“I’ve been a Paddington resident local for 20 years and I wanted a store that could deliver to the local community the sorts of produce and merchandise a chef would use,” she says. “Whether you love to cook or simply appreciate good food and great customer service, you’ll feel welcome here. It’s about sharing the joy I’ve been able to experience over my time in the hospitality industry.”
